Airbus Corporate Jets has won its first orders for the ACJ TwoTwenty totalling six aircraft following its launch. While Comlux has revealed an order for two aircraft, four further jets were ordered by undisclosed customers.

Comlux has placed a new order for an ACJ320neo, re-affirming its role as the largest single customer for the aircraft and taking its total orders for the type to four. The deal means that Comlux has now ordered a total of 20 Airbus corporate jets. Cabin outfitting will be done by Comlux Completion in Indianapolis.

Airbus Press Release - Comlux has taken delivery of the first of three ACJ320neo aircraft, which will now enter VIP cabin-outfitting by Comlux Completion in Indianapolis. It is the largest customer for the ACJ320neo Family, which has already won a total of 11 orders.

Comlux is pleased to announce that Comlux Completion, its completion and service center in Indianapolis, is raising the bar in maintenance services on large VIP aircraft such as ACJ and BBJ. During the 2018 year, Comlux maintained a steady stream of recurrent maintenance clients but also gained 4 new operators including 3 BBJs based in the US and 1 BBJ2 based in the Middle East.

Further to green delivery from Boeing back in December 2018 followed by exterior paint work, Comlux is pleased to announce the arrival of the first ever cabin completion on the first worldwide BBJ Max 8 at Comlux Completion. Comlux is planning to deliver the aircraft to its US-based owner before the end of the year.

The aircraft is to be delivered green by Airbus in September 2019 and is scheduled to take approximately 10 months to complete within Comlux’ Indianapolis facilities. This Airbus Corporate Jet completion is for a private customer based in Asia.

Comlux Completion LLC, the Completion and Service Center of the Comlux Group has signed two new projects, one Global 6000 and one BBJ, with repeat customers based in Asia. Both projects are for major refurbishments and will be performed in the Indianapolis facility. After a busy schedule in 2016 with not only multiple VIP completions (1 ACJ330, 1 BBJ and 1 SBJ), but also a steady stream of maintenance clients (3 BBJ, 1 ACJ), Comlux is growing its backlog.

Comlux America, the Completion and Service Center of Comlux, based in Indianapolis, IN, has teamed with 4 key industry designers to develop multiple interior design and floorplan concepts for the next generation narrow body interiors; specifically the Airbus ACJ neo and the BBJ MAX 8 aircraft. The design companies participating include Alberto Pinto Design, DesignQ, Unique Aircraft and Winch Design.

Comlux has launched a new Forward Auxiliary Center Tank System for the Airbus A321. The new system will allow VIP operators to realize a range increase of up to 500nm (25 pax) while commercial operators can expect up to 300nm (160 pax).
