Denis Ivanov brings more than 15 years of experience in aviation, complemented by over a decade of senior experience in public administration and government service. He began his aviation career in 2010 and subsequently served as CEO of Berkut State Airline of the President of Kazakhstan and as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Security at Air Astana.

Denis joined Comlux in August 2015 and has held senior leadership positions across the Comlux Group including 6 years as a CEO of Comlux KZ where he lead the company’s development and operations in Central Asia. Under his leadership, Comlux KZ achieved IS-BAO Stage 3 certification and doubled its fleet.

Denis holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Law, as well as a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the European University in Switzerland. His extensive experience across aviation operations, regulatory affairs, government relations and executive management provides valuable expertise in complex aviation transactions and strategic business development.
